About the app
Hotel Anvelope (bundle id com.hotel.anvelope) is an app for tyre workshops that manages seasonal tyre storage (a “tyre hotel”). It is published by Florentin Craciun (krakiun.com), the product site is anvelope.app, and the app’s servers run at api.anvelope.app.
Who is responsible for the data
Data about a workshop’s customers is entered by the workshop. For that data the workshop is the data controller and we act as the processor — we process it only to run the service, on the workshop’s instructions. For account data (below) we are the controller.
What we collect
Account data: e-mail address, name, password (stored hashed, never in clear text), chosen language, organisation/workshop name and the billing details entered by the user.
Data entered by the workshop: customers’ names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, vehicle licence plates, tyre set details, photos of tyre sets, on-screen signatures, recorded payments and notes. This data is stored on our servers (api.anvelope.app) so it syncs across the user’s devices. Photos and signatures are served only through signed, expiring links, and only to signed-in members of the same workshop.
Device permissions
The camera is used only to scan QR/barcode labels and to take photos that the user attaches to a tyre set. Nothing is recorded or uploaded without an explicit action by the user.
Offline mode: some data may be cached on the device so you can keep working without internet; it syncs automatically once you are back online.
E-mails
We send transactional e-mail only: team invitations, password resets, and reminders the user chooses to send to their own customers. Delivery is handled by Amazon SES. We send no newsletters and no marketing.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the platform’s store: Apple’s App Store on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Payment is handled entirely by the store. We never see or receive your card details. From the store we receive only a signed transaction record (product purchased, purchase and expiry dates, an anonymous transaction identifier), which our server verifies cryptographically in order to activate the plan for your workshop. The store also notifies our server about renewals, cancellations and refunds so the plan stays in sync.
You manage or cancel a subscription in your store account, not in the app: on Apple devices, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Terms of Use for subscriptions bought through Apple are Apple’s standard Terms of Use (EULA).
What we do not do
No advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no sale of data, and no sharing with third parties beyond the hosting provider and the e-mail provider needed to run the service.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored hashed. Inside a workshop, access is role-based and significant actions are recorded in an audit log. Data is kept on secure servers operated by our hosting provider.
Retention and deletion
Users can delete customers, tyre sets and photos at any time from within the app. A workshop owner can export all data (CSV/Excel/JSON) and can delete the account entirely from inside the app (Settings → Profile → Delete account) or request deletion by writing to [email protected]. Deleted data is removed promptly from active systems and from backups within a reasonable period, normally no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and object to the processing of your personal data. If you are a customer of a workshop that uses the app, please contact that workshop first; we support them in answering you. For any request, write to [email protected].
Children
The app is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page together with the new effective date.
